2 cups White Rice (Short or Long Grain - NOT Instant!)
2.25 cups Cold Water
Instructions
Wash the rice gently under running water in the pan or a bowl to remove any lime or hulls. Drain water carefully and repeat until the water runs clear.
Add measured water and rice to pan and heat to boil on stovetop.
Once boiling cover, lower heat to simmer. Simmer for 15-20 minutes (varies on size and freshness of rice-average of 18 minutes is a good start)
At time, keep lid on and remove from heat. Let rest 10 minutes and serve.
